There aren't many garages in Belgium that can give you an honest conversation about a Lynk & Co. We've been selling them for years, we drive them ourselves, and we know where the catches are. From our showroom in Sint-Martens-Latem, about fifteen minutes from Ghent.
This article is about what buying one actually involves. If you're just after the answers to the common questions (range, charging power, versions, warranty), you'll find those in our frequently asked questions about Lynk & Co.
Why a Lynk & Co is particularly interesting right now
The brand has changed course thoroughly over the past two years, and that works in favour of anyone buying used today.
The subscription scheme has ended. Lynk & Co launched in Europe with a car subscription you could cancel monthly. At the end of 2025 the brand announced it was stopping; the running contracts expired in the first half of 2026. The result: a sizeable wave of former subscription cars arriving on the used market. Often sharply priced, but also with a history of their own, and we'll come back to that in a moment.
Volvo Cars is taking over the European operations. In March 2026, Volvo Cars and Geely Auto signed a letter of intent under which Volvo takes on Lynk & Co's commercial activities in Europe, including the existing Volvo sales and service network. For a buyer, that's the most important news in years: the question "where can I still go with this car" is largely answered.
What we check on every Lynk & Co
An 01 is not a complicated car, but four things make the difference between a good buy and an expensive one. We work them out for every example before the car goes into our stock.
What the warranty really still covers. The factory warranty is summarised everywhere as "4 years or 120 000 km". That's not how it works. The first 24 months run without a mileage limit from the delivery date; after that it runs another 24 months (month 25 through 48) or up to 120 000 km, whichever comes first. And the kilometres the car covered before the delivery date count towards that limit. Because Lynk & Cos were sometimes kept in storage for a while, the remaining warranty can differ from what you would expect based on the model year. We calculate it per car.
The history, and especially on ex-subscription cars. A subscription car has usually had several users. That's not a disqualification, but it is a reason to look harder at condition, service history and damage record than on a car with a single owner.
The battery. On a plug-in hybrid, the high-voltage battery is the part you can't see and the most expensive one to replace. We measure it and issue a certificate for it, so you know what you're buying instead of hoping.
Which version it is exactly. The equipment differs per version, and the charging power differs with it. That decides whether you're full in a little over two hours or a little over four hours on a home charge point. It isn't written on the car; we look it up.
Where to get it serviced
At Volvo dealers with Lynk & Co experience. The 01 sits on the CMA platform, which also underpins the Volvo XC40 and the Polestar 2, and shares a lot underneath with the XC40 plug-in hybrid. With the integration into the Volvo network, servicing runs through the established Volvo service points.
We deliberately no longer keep a list of addresses in this article: it's changing anyway because of the takeover. Call or email us and we'll give you the address that's correct today for your region. If you run into something, we'll help you look. We have the contacts for that, in Belgium and beyond.
Test drive, showroom and delivery
Because we usually have Lynk & Cos in stock, a test drive is normally straightforward. We recommend it too: an 01 is a car you have to feel to understand why it appeals to so many people.
You'll find us at Kortrijksesteenweg 188 in Sint-Martens-Latem, right next to Ghent. If you're coming from further away, that needn't be a problem: we work with extensive photos, videos and 360° imagery so you can judge the car realistically from home, and we deliver it road-ready to your door anywhere in Belgium.
We're reachable 7 days a week between 9am and 8pm. For a question about a specific car, calling is usually quickest.
What other customers think
Our customers come from Ghent and Sint-Martens-Latem, but just as much from Limburg or Wallonia. What they write about it, you can read on our reviews page.
